Man 'discovers Nessie on Google Earth'

A Nottingham man believes that he may have spotted the Loch Ness Monster on Google Earth, it has been reported.

Security guard Jason Cook, 25, discovered a strange object which he thinks could be Nessie while viewing the service's satellite photos of the Scottish loch.

The oval shape is 65ft long and seems to have four legs and a tail, The Sun reports.

Cook told the newspaper: "I couldn't believe it. It's just like the descriptions of Nessie."

Meanwhile, Loch Ness Project researcher Adrian Shine commented: "This is really intriguing. It needs further study."

Nessie enthusiasts can view the image by entering co-ordinates Latitude 57°12'52.13"N, Longitude 4°34'14.16"W in Google Earth.
