Kay Tse is a Hong Kong Cantopop singer. She was a newcomer to the music industry in 2005, and is known for her versatile vocal range and expertise in various music genres, especially in jazz.

Tse is yet to crack the main stream Cantopop market but many music industry insiders have tipped her singing ability to have big potential, and regard her as one of a new breed of "non-idol" singers who sell their singing ability rather than their looks. Liza Wang, also known as "Big Sister" in Hong Kong's entertainment circles, has finally tied the knot with actor Law Kar-Ying after a two-decade-long courtship.

Wang, 61, and Law, 62, registered their marriage on May 2 in Las Vegas, United States, according to Hong Kong media.

The couple will officially announce their marriage upon their return to Hong Kong later this month.

Wang and Law met each other in 1987, about four years after Wang ended her previous marriage. In 1988, the couple announced their relationship following their first Cantonese opera cooperation.

Since 1996, Law has publicly proposed to Wang at least four times, but was refused each time.

Both of the stars have overcome cancer in recent years, and their support for each other during treatment is said to have solidified their relationship.

Taiwan singer A Sun (A Sang), who touched many music lovers with her melancholy voice, has died of breast cancer.

Media reports singer Judy Huang Yanlin, nicknamed A Sun, passed away earlier Monday, April 6 in a Taiwan hospital, following a failed battle with breast cancer. She was 34.

A Sun shot to fame with the closing theme song 'Ye Zi', or 'leaves', of Taiwan idol TV series 'Rosebush's Love' and caught widespread public attention with hit song 'Ji Mo Zai Chang Ge', or 'For the Lonely', a remake of 1970's classic song 'Moonlight Flower' by Michael Cretu.

Her stage name 'Sang' (from 'cang sang' which suggests unpredictable changes in life in Chinese ) was adopted by her record company, as people learned a strong feeling of sorrow from her sophisticated melancholic tunes.

A Sun released two albums, "Love Hurts" and "Angel", both were very welcomed.

The "Super Band" of the Chinese pop music scene, comprising Lo Ta Yu, Jonathan Lee, Emil Chau Wakin and Chang Chen Yueh attended a press conference for their upcoming pop concert on March 11, 2009.
